About Katherine

Hello! My name is Kat and I'm 22 years old. I previously worked as a youth counselor where I supervised elementary-age children and occasionally worked with younger ages in the nursery. I also worked in the facilities Virtual Learning Center during Covid. I'm currently a stay at home mom looking for part time childcare opportunities during the week or weekends. I'm Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certified and have about 5 years experience in childcare through personal practice (siblings, relatives, family friends, etc.) and from my previous employment. I love to be interactive with the kids I work with so I'm always up to play time outside, finding fun crafts ideas, or just participating in a child's daily playtime routine! I would describe my style of childcare as being involved while still maintaining the responsibilities and expectations of the household.
