About Katherine

Hi! My name is Katie, most people would describe me as an outgoing, goofy, and energetic person. I love working with kids because they are our future! I'm looking for jobs that value the hard work and attention to detail I put in. I know it can be hard to leave your kids, but I promise you they will be having lots of fun! I have a lot of patience with kids who are prone to outbursts and do my best to keep them active and moving so that when it's time for nap, they have as little fuss as possible:) Depending on the age range and how often I work with the children, I like to think of activities to do/bring. I always want to encourage creativity and innovation as I am an entrepreneur and want to inspire kids to look for the best solution to their problems. I also believe learning good communication at an early age is very important, so I work with kids to express themselves clearly and effectively. I validate frustration or any other emotions felt, and demonstrate ways to show them.
