About Katherine

*SUMMER CARE ONLY* I'd describe my personality as fun, loving and caring I like working with kids because it is really fun to watch them grow, learn, and develop new skills as they age! They are also really fun to be around and give you a good perspective on life! I started working with kids when I was 15 and I have a long history of working with kids since then (I can provide references and further details). I worked at a Montessori school for 1. 5 years and now I am a para educator at an elementary school. In my spare time, I like to garden/tend to houseplants, go on walks, grab a cup of coffee and chat with friends. I have a Bachelors Degree in Therapeutic Recreation and in my course work received some early childhood development classes. One thing you should know about me is I will take really great care of your kids! My skills include infant care, diapering, potty training, naps/bedtime, meals and most importantly sticking to the child's routine!
