About Kate

Hello! I'm Kate, currently wrapping up high school and planning on going to college this fall. I'm a swim instructor at Goldfish Swim School, utilizing my years of swimming experience to teach kids life saving skills in the water. In this role, I consistently apply and practice my patience and communication skills, and these qualities extend to my approach in childcare beyond the pool. I have lifeguard certifications from both American Red Cross and Ellis and Associates. Meaning, I'm trained in CPR/AED and First Aid for all ages. I first began babysitting in 2020 and have experience with kids aged 7 months to 12 years. In this role, I focus on creating a safe and welcoming space where kids feel valued. From outdoor adventures like going to parks or pools to cooking simple meals and reading stories to wind down the day, I'm always looking for ways to make our time together both fun and meaningful.
