About Karon

I'd describe my personality as patient, nurturing, and active. I like working with kids, everyday is unique and adventurous because kids are unpredictable and full of energy. Working with children is rewarding and a fantastic way to support childhood development. I started working with kids when I was a freshman high school. I started doing volunteer work for a childcare in my community. Then I did my internship there for my community education degree. After I started working full time and now I am an on call employee/volunteer worker while going to nursing school. I have 10 + years of experience in childcare. In my spare time, I like to read, spend time with family and friends, and workout. One thing you should know about me is I am in nursing school in the DMSN program at Alverno College. My skills include creativity, interpersonal and leadership skills.
