About Karissa

I'd describe my personality as caring, fun and responsible. Beyond babysitting, I worked in resort recreation after graduating college where I planned daily activities for the children at the resort. I was a nanny for two children after that while I worked towards my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I went on to teach kindergarten for four years until my baby girl was born and decided to stay home with her. In my spare time, I like to do anything and everything outside with my baby, my husband, and our two dogs. We really enjoy hiking and kayaking. One thing you should know about me is with my background as an educator, I love planning age appropriate activities that help children grow and develop all while having fun. My background has also taught me to be very flexible and handle multitasking and stressful situations well. I'm looking for a job that would be comfortable with my 7-month-old baby girl being present with us. I hope to chat with you soon!
