About Kaitlyn

Hi, my name is Kaitlyn and I have 12 years of childcare experience! I started out as a babysitter for about 10 years. In this role, I assisted with daily needs, school assignments, food preparation, and provided transportation and supervision at after school activities. I was also a nanny of a 2-year-old for one year. I provided everyday care like feedings, changing, and overall supervision to ensure safety. I taught a carefully curated curriculum that used play based learning to reach the whole child and meet all developmental needs. Finally, I was an assistant teacher in a toddler and preschool classroom. In these classrooms I prepared and maintained the environment to ensure student success. I was in charge of tone keeping and discipline using a positive discipline approach. I assisted in lesson preparation and presentation with a focus on the art and practical life areas.. Most importantly I oversaw all children to ensure their safety, cleanliness, and well-being.
