About Julianne

I am a medical student at UNM School of medicine in my fourth year of education. I am required to be CPR and AED certified as well as up to date on all vaccinations. I decompressed my fourth year and thus will have much more time on my hands outside of studying. As I have extended schooling for myself, that means I must pay for another semester of education, and I will have 9 months free after December 2024 with my MD before I can go to residency. I was a caregiver for a year at Atria Vista Del Rio in Albuquerque for the Alzheimer's and dementia unit. I also nannied for two families for their children of varying ages from infants to teenagers in my time in undergrad. Getting back into this hands-on care is such a blessing as it reminds me why I went into medicine at the start. I am applying into pediatrics, so I absolutely adore children, but I also have my previous experience with taking care of our elders, and I love conversing and assisting in daily acts of living for our elders.
