About Jewel

Hello! My name is Jewel. I am originally from Los Angeles but moved to Connecticut in 2018. I currently work full-time as a technician for the American Red Cross and I am available for childcare work in my time off. My schedule typically leaves me open on weeknights, weekends, and holidays, with additional availability on occasion. I have six years of childcare experience, with children ranging in age from infant to 13 years. I have taken college courses in child development and I am certified in Pediatric and Adult First Aid, CPR, and AED use. I have my own car with a clean driving record. As a nanny and sitter, I have experience taking care of meal times, bath time, drop-offs and pick-ups, homework help, outdoor play, arts & crafts, and special outings (parks, museums, etc.). My hobbies outside of work include music, photography, reading, painting, and cooking - all of which I love to help children engage with.
