About Jena

Hi! I'm Jena and I recently moved to Minnesota from Vermont with my fiancé. Personally: I am an upbeat, compassionate, and reliable person who can typically be found reading, going to UMD hockey games, spending time with my fiancé, and exploring Minnesota. I'm very open-minded and always eager to learn. Professionally: I have been working in childcare since 2010. I have been a float, assistant, and lead teacher for kids aged 6 weeks-6 years old in a preschool setting and a nanny for children infant-5th grade. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management & Business Administration and am lead teacher qualified in the state of Colorado. I am always looking for new resources to help me learn and improve upon my knowledge in the field. I am knowledgeable in implementing curriculum and enjoy creating fun activities for art, math, sensory, science, literature, etc. for all ages. I have had the COVID vaccine and continue to be COVID-conscious in the public/social setting.
