20+ years experience teaching and taking care of children; in Medford, OR, Newport Beach, CA, Las Vegas, NV, Miami, FL and here in Tenn. Children are such a joy; they have so much energy, ideas and excitement, it really is a favorite job of mine. I am a healthy, active, creative and organized woman proficient in working with children of all ages. Retired Cert Teachers Asst. all school levels. At this time I am most interested in working with newborns; new parents, newly blended families and those who have recently relocated to the area. I enjoy helping out with all the newness; sleep schedules, feedings, developmental play. Also, date nights & days, goal setting and strengthening communication skills. Jamie was a wonderful caregiver for our son, beginning when he was 8 weeks old and continuing for six months. We both work from home and Jamie helped out on weekdays during working hours. Our son quickly developed a bond with Jamie and looked forward to seeing her each morning. She was punctual, reliable, a great communicator and very caring and nurturing. She was flexible in accommodating our wishes while also providing helpful suggestions and feedback about our son. She was respectful of our home and self-sufficient while we were working. We transitioned to a daycare center after six months, but would have loved to have Jamie for longer if we chose to stay with a nanny. We recommend her as a caregiver and person of the highest character.
