About Isabella

I like working with kids because I have a passion for early childhood development. Seeing kids grow in their social emotional skills, autonomy, self esteem, and in learning new things is extremely important to me. I started working with kids when I started babysitting at the age of 12. From there, I started to volunteer at the Elementary School and Preschool nearby. When I turned 16, I started working at the preschool and became a lead teacher there a couple years later. I worked there for over 5. 5 years until I moved away this spring. In my spare time, I like to do anything that gets me outside and moving! Paddle boarding, mountain biking, trail running, hiking, and hanging out on the river are some of my favorites. I am working towards applying for a Master's Program in Nutrition, so I also love to cook! Pairing fresh flavors and new recipes while balancing the nutrition and local foods is one of my favorite things to do.
