Hi there! My name is Isabel but everyone calls me Izzy :) I am 21 years old & currently a senior in the BSN program at University of Detroit Mercy's School of Nursing. I currently work as a student nurse contingent at Karmanos Cancer Institute on a bone marrow transplant unit. I have been fully COVID-19 vaccinated since January. Before my nursing clinicals started in January 2020, I had been babysitting for about 2. 5 years prior. In June of 2020, I started working at Karmanos as a patient sitter. This January I started working as a student nurse intern at Karmanos. I love kids, especially babies. I am thinking of going into labor & delivery or neonatal nursing when I graduate next year. Since I work contingent, my schedule for the summer is very open & flexible! I miss babysitting & want to help out families at home before I'm qualified to help them in the hospital as an registered nurse next year :)
