About Irie

I've been working with kiddos for the last six years, both as a pre-K and assistant K-1 teacher at a Five Acre and as a long term in-home nanny for kids ranging in age from 6 months to 6. My philosophy is rooted in a whole-child approach where social, physical, and emotional well being of children are all centered, and their curiosity and interests guide our time together. Part of my role as a teacher was facilitating our classes weekly hike and connecting children with the outdoors is a huge passion of mine. I am first aid and CPR certified and am happy to provide references upon request. I have a reliable vehicle, am comfortable with pets, and willing to cook and do light housework as needed.
