I initially hired Ingrid for a two week job, plus an extra day babysitting before the 2 week job began. Communication was good after hiring her, and she would respond back to me very quickly. However, a few days before the job was set to start, I asked if she could complete some references for me. I also offered to reimburse her. She completely ghosted me after that, and never showed up for the first job, leaving me scrambling to find last minute child care.
