About Heidi

Heidi has been a wonderful addition to our family. She is kind, caring, and respectful of our wishes when it comes to raising our son. It was extremely difficult for me to put our son's well being in the hands of a stranger, but we have never had a single regret. She possesses a level of patience, tolerance, and tenderness that is rarely seen in people. Her calm and kind nature is as genuine as they come. Some people have a gift with children and elderly and Heidi is one of those people. She follows the schedule we have set and makes the most of her time with him. She is always looking for opportunities to teach, whether with books, toys, puzzles, or activities. Our little boy is very active and Heidi tackles his energy with a smile, taking him on walks to the park, swimming, dancing, and pretending. She is very good at refocusing his energy and setting boundaries. Our son lights up when she walks in the door and is sad to see her leave at the end of a day. As a parent you couldn't ask for a better response. When I travel for work she keeps our house in order and even updates me with pictures and details on his day. Although it isn't expected of her, Heidi loads/unloads the dishwasher, cleans the floors, and does laundry when she has free time. I very rarely see her sit down. Heidi has even helped with my Pepe who moved to Florida recently and is 89 years old. She took a genuine interest in his adjustment to the move and his overall mental and physical well being. When he fell a month after his move she volunteered to assist with his daily care needs and even more so encouraged him to stay positive and to do what was needed to do to get better and regain his independence. We are very blessed to have found her and truly don't know what we would do without her!
