I worked as a nanny for three separate infants. The first was a little girl, but she got accepted into day care at about 9 months of age. However, I found my time there to be very rewarding and I learned a lot. I worked from 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. , and I also did some light housework. I would dress the baby, feed her, play with her, go on walks and sometimes bathe her in the evenings. The second baby was a boy and I was with him from June 2014-2015 up until the age of 15 months. I loved my job very much and I grew very close to the little guy, but I had to move to Colorado with my military fiance. In CO I worked as a nanny for a newborn baby girl, and it was another invaluable experience. However, now I am moving back to CT, and I am hoping to find a similar nannying position there. I just recently received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a focus in Child and Adolescent Development, and I am also certified in child and infant first aid and CPR.
