I graduated University with a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Before college, I graduated high school early and nannied full time for 9 months. I am currently working my fourth year as a high school teacher- I teach child development, fashion, and interior design! I have available nights, weekends, and summers. Currently, I am working on my masters degree as I prepare to become a therapist specializing in adolescents. I have been nannying/babysitting for as long as I can remember, and I can do it all! I can prepare healthy meals/snacks, organize developmentally appropriate activities, tutor, prepare bottles/snacks, bath time, play dates, grocery store runs, and light house keeping... just to name a few. I will probably run out of room before I can say everything we love about Erika! Erika Started working for us full time (40-45hrs a week, sometimes more!) in January 2015- August 2015. Not only is she trustworthy & reliable, but she has to be the kindest and sweetest person you can meet. She was wonderful with 1 year old in every way, who certainly struggled with Mom leaving at first. Erika has the patience of saint! Erika was NEVER late to work, nor did she miss any days that were not previously scheduled with me. She always let me know when they were going out. My daughter AND my house were always clean and tidy. She was always looking for new fun activities to do with my daughter, took her to swim lessons, various parks, crafts, etc... She is amazingly responsible, caring, and honest. I would whole heartedly have her back to take care of our family any time! We were truly blessed to have found Erika on Care.com. We miss you Erika (as I try not to cry!). Whoever hires Erika, will be a truly lucky family. I would trust Erika with any age child, newborn to teenagers... she can handle it.
