About Emily

Aloha My name is Emily and I'm a bright, fun & experienced caregiver! I graduated in 2020, earning a bachelor's in Communication with a minor in Psychology. I am stoked to begin my master's degree at UH this fall, studying Clinical Counseling Psychology. I absolutely adore kids and had the pleasure of working as a childcare professional for several families. Spending my summers since I was 13 babysitting, I've been a part of many different family dynamics & have worked with a range of children. I love kiddos of all ages and have spent time with families with twins (and triplets). I have experience working with children on the Autism spectrum, and children with other special needs. Learning from a new family is always a great experience. I am big on communication so everyone is clear on boundaries. I aim to direct kids away from screens if possible- it's nice to give our eyes a break & engage in activities such as crafts, games, trips to the beach, baking etc. Thanks for reading!
