About Emily

My experience caring for children started when I was 13 years old babysitting for a family I lived next to. I babysat two twin boys that were 5 years old, and their 3-year-old sister for about four years or so. Ive been consistently babysitting throughout the years ever since then. As soon as I turned 16 I started working at All About Me Preschool and Daycare in Fairfield, Maine. At this childcare center I worked with 2. 5 - 5-year-old children to strengthen their social skills, language and ability to share space with their peers. The first half of each day the children had the opportunity to engage in learning activities through science, math, art, phonics and reading. It was definitely an incredible learning experience for me as well working alongside the other licensed preschool teachers at such a young age.
