Hi! My name is Emily. I have a bachelor's degree in special education, learning disabilities and a master's degree in autism spectrum disorder. I am about to finish my 10th year of teaching in a high school ASD classroom. I have also taught kindergarten, and elementary/middle school resource. I have babysat here and there for over 15 years. I use to watch newborn twins, elementary aged children, and children with autism. Once a week I take care of my 98-year-old grandma. She suffered from a stroke years ago and also has dementia. I clean, meal prep, help her get dressed, move around, and assist with toileting needs. I use to be a tennis instructor and have been an assistant high school tennis coach. I enjoy children of all ages! I am very comfortable with arts and crafts, assisting academically, teaching sports, and supporting in other areas. Feel free to ask about anything else! :) *I am vaccinated and also feel comfortable wearing a mask.*
