About Emily

I began working with children in high school! I took a child development class that partnered with daycare/preschool children to allow experience. It was at that point I discovered my future career path wanting to be a Certified Child Life Specialist. I was able to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and am currently working towards my Master's degree in Child Life. While in undergrad I had close connections with our local children's hospital and had the opportunity to work alongside those children through our fundraising event (State Dance Marathon). I have years of experience working as an Infant and Toddler daycare/preschool teacher as well! In my spare time, I like to focus on self care/mental health wellbeing by grabbing a coffee/tea and heading to Target, Home Goods, TjMaxx, etc. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and hanging out with my family!
