About Ellisyn

Hi, my name is Ellie. I am an elementary Health and Physical Education Teacher. I have over 3 years of experience working in a daycare facility. I am in my third year teaching in a public school. I am certified in first aid, CPR, life-guarding, WSI and LGI. I also have a handful of experience working with individuals on the spectrum, as well as, with physical disabilities. I minored in Adapted Physical Activity throughout college and have gained the perspective of valuing ability over disability! I describe myself as a very active caretaker. Coming from a physical education background, I see a great need for kids to be active and live a healthy lifestyle, not only physically, but also emotionally. I believe in guided discovery for young children with a balance of routine and consistency. I am happy to provide a copy of all my clearances as well certifications, if requested. I do work during school hours, however, am looking to work extra after school and or on the weekends.
