About Ellen

I am an enthusiastic 27-year-old graduate from University of Delaware and MGH-IHP. I've spent the past 3 years working as a full time Middle School Special Education teacher in Denver, CO. I currently have my masters in Speech Language Pathology and work full time in a school. My masters program focused on literacy and literacy intervention for individuals with various reading and writing needs. I have worked with kids in many different environments including teaching, coaching, and peer mentoring. I have also had many other babysitting and camp jobs in between. I love creating different adventures with kids of all ages and hope to continue to work with kids after obtaining my masters. I was a sleep-away camp counselor and CIT for two summers. I lived and worked with girls ages 9-14. I also have nannied a family of 3 elementary school girls and two dogs. I was also a swim coach for boys and girls ages 7-8 for two years and worked as a lifeguard for multiple summers.
