About Ellen

Hi there! After earning my B. S. in child psychology from the University of Minnesota in May 2019, I moved to New York and spent a couple of years working in psychiatry research. I am currently a graduate student at the University of South Dakota clinical psychology PhD program. I have been caring for youth of all ages for over a decade. My experience includes being a full time nanny for two summers (2016 and 2017), volunteering at the Masonic Children's Hospital where I worked with children ages 0 to 18 for two and a half years (2016 to 2019), and working in psychiatric hospitals in London (4 months in 2018; youth ages 6-14) and New York (past 2 years; youth ages 12 to 17). Additionally, I was a youth (ages 5 to 18) volleyball coach for three years from 2013 to 2017. Not only do I love children but I'm also a lover of all furry friends and am comfortable with some light housework and meal prep if requested!
