About Elan

I have been caring for children for many years. I am experienced with tending to children myself and to being with a stay-at-home mom. I have done everything involved with childcare, from the basics of caring for them and preparing their meals to playing with them. I interacted with them on a level where I was their teacher and introduced them to new things. I have taken them to classes where I was a participant. I have helped with homework and been involved with their schools. I was in charge of the household and managing it day to day. I have always been the extra pair of eyes and ears and hands that the parents have needed. I have also done work in the cooking field but it doesn't have as many rewards as does childcare. It gives me so much gratification to care for a child. It is a job with daily rewards and it is so thrilling to know that I am a part of it and even assisted with the child completing that task and learning something new. It is rewarding to care for kids.
