About Marissa

Hello, My name is Marissa, I am 25 from Quincy, MA. I have a degree in elementary education major from Westfield State. I have my Masters in Social Work, and license as a Student Adjustment Counselor. I have worked in two school systems since graduating from Westfield. I was in charge of a "pandemic online learning pod" of 13 children in 2020. I have worked with a handful of families from Care, mostly ranging in ages 2-13. My summers for the last 9 years have been spent as a camp counselor for children ranging from 6-16. In this role I have ranged from sports, arts and crafts, and anything under the sun. This summer I am the inclusions director, specifically focusing on engaging/integrating children with disabilities into our programs. I have been the head coach at a High School for girls lacrosse for 4 years and a youth basketball coach in Quincy. Additionally, I played soccer at WSU.
