About Dara

Hello everyone! (updated 7/9/23) About me regarding childcare: I am the oldest of seven children, and have been taking care of kids outside of my own family since I was 11 years old. I have extensive experience as a camp counselor, tennis instructor (for kids and adults), lifeguard, and nanny. I love animals and pets! A bit about me outside of childcare: I moved to Florida in May 2022, after 9 years of living in Portland, Oregon. My hobbies include hitting up the farmers market, being outside (used to hike, camp and backpack a lot in Oregon), cooking, reading, talking philosophy with friends, and meditation. I have friends who love to roller skate so you may find me skating as well :) I have a bachelors degree in global studies from Providence College, where I played on the tennis team.
