I have my associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Had some time working as a youth behavioral specialist & have provided my child care services to many families. I have led a elementary level summer camp in the past too. I currently work as a teacher at a early learning center, and have done so for the past few years. I am a very creative, outgoing, honest, and responsible individual. I have my own car for transportation; available for any sort of pick up/drop offs! Perfect driving record! I love out door activities, crafts, and great with homework help & projects! I love the company of kids, and they always put a smile on my face! As for families with pets - I love animals, great experience, and a dog & cat of my own!

I first met Karissa when she wanted to intern with me at the elementary school that I teach at. She was very responsible in her role at school, always coming on time and prepared, and communicating any upcoming events that necessitated a change in her schedule. Responsibilities in class included helping small groups of first graders, assisting with grading, walking around and monitoring students while they worked, as well as many other jobs that would come up to help with instruction. She was always ready and willing to help in any way that was needed. I would definitely recommend Karissa for any position she would be qualified to have!
