About Dalia

I have been taking care of kids for 12 years. My initial experience in childcare was taking care of my friends' and relatives' kids after graduating college with an accounting degree. I learned of the Au Pair program soon after graduation and decided to take advantage of the program in order to improve my English. The program required prior experience in childcare so I worked for a day care in Mexico for about 6 months prior to coming to the USA. I was assigned to a family of 3 kids, ages 2, 5 and 7 in Westlake for 1 year. It was during this time that I realized my passion for taking care of children. I never expected that the relationship I had with these kids to be full of impact on my life and theirs. I have been mostly a full time nanny since I finished the program. Currently I'm a stay at home mom of one boy, I'm looking forward to continue my journey in the childcare profession helping other parents but this time at my home.
