This is my first time hiring from care.com; I previously posted jobs but struggled to find anyone. Dakota connected with me on the platform and we then coordinated off platform for her to come on Friday. She confirmed details the day before at 4pm and then proceeded to cease contact, and ultimately no-showed for the agreed upon time. I blocked her number. I am still hoping to use care.com but I definitely learned from the experience.
