About Cristina

I have 10+ years in child care in ages newborn to 16 years of age. I enjoy pretend play, and hands on play such as crafts and sensory play. I am a CNA, and am CPR certified, and am covid vaccinated! I am also BLS certified through the American Heart Association in both pediatrics and adults. I will be graduating with my bachelors in integrative behavioral health sciences from UIC after this summer, and will continue on to receive my physicians assistant degree after finishing up a few more prerequisites. I am looking for something long term (approximately 3 years) until I start PA school. I pursue a gentle "parenting" style and promote Montessori learning into my play as much as possible. I believe that children learn best by exploring the world around them and attempting age-appropriate independence from an early age. I enjoy spending time outside with the children and promoting exploration of the world around us in a safe, controlled environment. I hope to hear from you soon!
