Hello, I am a mother of 1 child and he is 13 years old. I have 11 years of experience in the child care profession. I am a recent graduate of ATU for Occupational Therapy Assistant school. I am looking for work while I get licensed and certified for OT practice and while I make my name in the community. I have one year of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician which specializes in ABA therapy for children with Autism. Some of the children I have worked with as a nanny had special needs with sensory and behavior challenges. I also volunteer with special needs individuals at church and via hippotherapy. I have worked in the Montessori school environment for 1. 5 years and have studied the Montessori theory. I am passionate about helping children grow and learn to be strong healthy adults. I love children and understand the balance of playful interaction and helping them advance through early childhood education techniques.

Chrissy worked for our family during COVID. We pulled our kids from school that year and needed full time care. We could not have asked for anyone better. She was respectful of how careful our family was being regarding the pandemic, and worked with us to make sure we felt safe and comfortable. She is AMAZING with kids. She was nurturing and very active with the kids. I would come home to projects, artwork, and new games. She also made sure they had lots of outdoor time. Her approach to child care was phenomenal and in line with our parenting style and child development. We parted ways after a year when both kids went back to school. Our kids still talk about Chrissy and miss her a lot. Chrissy provided invaluable peace of mind and stability for our family during such an uncertain and scary time. We will forever have Chrissy in our hearts!!
