About Cheyanne

Hello! I am currently finishing up my Masters degree in Geology from NIU and looking for something during the summer until I start teaching in the fall. I have worked with kids throughout high school at my church back home and was a mentor with BigBrotherBigSister for about a year during my undergraduate studies. The past two years, I have been a TA at NIU for our intro geology labs so I have continued working with students, though college age now. I love working with younger kids up to teens and I have lots of fun science and environmental activities for any age I could bring to keep them busy and learning, as well as spending time outside, reading, and doing artsy activities as well! I am not CPR certified, but I have been trained; I have my own car and willing to drive kids; I don't smoke; and I am comfortable with pets of any kind!
