I have always loved to be around children. I enjoy their energy and perspective on things. I have been a Mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters for 6 years. I worked for the YWCA of Columbus where for their Kids Place and it's summer camp. With the YWCA I got experience watching elementary school and some middle school kids of all different ages with different backgrounds. I've been part of many volunteering events with children in different situation. I like to base my care off their interest in a way that allows them to grow as individuals. If there is anything specific that I can help with I am always willing to learn if necessary. I feel I can learn as much from them as they from me. (I am currently attending OSU but doing things virtually for now.)
