About Caroline

I'm a dedicated, gentle, and compassionate friend and teacher to little people. My respect for children and calm, steady demeanor guide my connection with the children in my care. I believe in the importance of play and child lead learning. I'm well versed in Conscious Discipline and Reggio Emilia education methods. I have three years of experience as a nanny including experience with multiples. I have 2 years of experience as a COTA providing pediatric occupational therapy. I have worked with a variety of diagnoses including autism, down's syndrome, genetic conditions, developmental delay, fine motor delays, sensory processing/self regulation challenges and feeding/swallowing disorders. I have four years of experience as a preschool teacher working with infants to pre-k. I live in Winston-Salem with my husband and our cat Annie. I'm an avid reader and member of a local book club. I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, running, and gardening. I love finding new recipes to cook and bake.
