Are you looking for someone who is reliable, caring, fun loving and dedicated with experience to care for your child or children? Look no more, I have over 20 years of experience as a pre-school teacher for ages 2-5. I have also cared for children after school ages 2- 11. Picking them up from school taking them to sporting practice, doing homework, reading, arts and crafts, light cooking, other fun activities and making sure the children we bathed and ready for bed if needed. I am CPR certified, clean background check and clean driving record. I enjoy children, teaching and having fun. I have been called the child whisper by many parents because of the way their children respond to me in a positive way. I am currently working as a pre-school teacher in Palos Verdes, and I am looking for something to supplement my income with after school and on weekends. It would be worthwhile for us to talk. My husband and I have known Carol for the last 6+ years. Before we had enrolled our daughter, then 3, Miss Carol was getting rave compliments from Mommy & Me parents with other children in the preschool. We were thrilled to meet her and quickly saw why she is so well liked by both children and their parents. Our daughter was fortunate enough to have Carol for two years including lunch time till 3 pm. Once she "graduated" to kindergarten, we asked Carol if she would be able to babysit for us as we were still new to the area with no available family. She has been our sitter ever since and our nearly 10 year old still gets extremely excited to see her. When we're away, they cook together, watch movies, and take care of the dog (the dog adores her too). Carol always arrives early, everything is tidy in the house, and our daughter is fast asleep when we return. She is gracious, charitable, kind and empathetic, and we highly recommend her.
