About Candace

I raised my own children, my son (33) and my daughter (23). Over the past 20 years, I have served as a toddler teacher, and home-daycare provider, and served 4 different families as a nanny for the last decade. I also have experience working with people with special needs. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I enjoy working with children and providing a safe place to be nurtured in their emotional, physical, and mental development. I believe investing time and love into children's lives is one of the most important responsibilities. I communicate with families by providing daily reports of our activities, such as milestones, and sleeping and eating schedules. I would describe myself as reliable, proactive, engaging, resourceful, honest, and nurturing. While serving as a nanny, I also have experience in light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, dusting, meal prep, transportation, and errands) I would be honored to be considered for the opportunity to serve your family.
