About Brittany

My name is Brittany. I have been a nanny for the past 13 years. I started working at a day care when I was 15 years old where I cared for several children at a time. I have babysat for several families over the past few years with ages ranging from newborn to 12 years old. I spent one year in California as a live-in nanny for two boys (ages 4 and 8), I was responsible for getting the children ready in the morning and driving them to school. During the day, I would tidy the house, do laundry, walk the dog, and prepare dinner. My responsibilities also included picking the boys up, bringing them to after-school activities, assisting with homework, dinner, and getting them ready for bed. I was also a live in caregiver in Texas for 6 months for a girl with type 1 diabetes and autism where I would provide constant care for her. I feel that the most important thing in being a nanny is treating the family like I would my own, and vice versa. I encourage being outdoors as much as possible.
