I've been a nanny for 31 years, caring for children from when they were just born all the way until 15. I care for children long term and watch them grow throughout the years. I love working with kids, taking them to museums, parks, and out for activities. When they get sick I take them to the doctor and occasionally I stay overnight to help with them when the parents go out. I like to keep the kids active with arts and crafts and fun games, but also keeping in mind what their interests are. I form a good relationship with the kids so that they know I'm their friend, not only the caregiver. I am able to help families with washing and folding laundry, cleaning up after meals, general pickup and organization of the home, and errands. I cook meals for the kids and provide snacks. I dress children, and change diapers, in addition to having daily bath time and hygiene. I provide learning activities and recreation to encourage speech, and learning ABCs/shapes/colors/courtesy/sharing.

Bozena has been working with our family for 5 years now, taking care of our son (almost 7), middle daughter (5) and youngest daughter (2 ). She started with our family when our middle daughter was born and has been a loving presence in our children s lives and ours. Our children adore her and ask every night before bed is Bozena coming tomorrow . We consider Bozena to be a part of our family and have been blessed to have such a caring, dedicated and hardworking nanny all these years. She works 50 hours per week currently and is looking for full time work of at least 40-50 hours per week. When the kids were babies, she would take care of all feedings, bathing, clipping their tiny fingernails and toes (which I was even afraid to do, but she did so carefully!!), cleaning of bottles, toys and play areas, and laundry and bedsheets. She would engage the babies in playtime, tummy time, outings to the park and library, and as they grew, would teach them to self feed, potty train and so much more. She would schedule playdates with other nannies with kids of similar ages so the kids would develop their socialization skills. As they got older, she would take them on additional outings to the pool, zoo, Children s Museum, Park District and Morton Arboretum. I would sometimes have a mom I didn t even know walk up to me on a weekend at the park and tell me how she had seen Bozena with our children that week and how good she was with our kids how patient and engaging, and how she could tell how much our kids loved her. Bozena s additional responsibilities as the kids have entered school include include getting them ready for school in the morning, feeding them breakfast, drop off and pick up each day, taking them to various after school activities, making sure they shower or helping to bathe them, taking them to any doctor appointments or dental visits, and starting dinner as needed on nights where there is a baseball or soccer game. We trust Bozena to drive our children anywhere; she has an excellent driving record and we feel very comfortable with the kids in her care. Bozena also helps so much around the house. She takes care of the both the kids and our laundry and bedsheets. She keeps the kitchen and play areas clean, mends the kids clothes as needed and takes on many other miscellaneous projects to keep busy and help out around the house. Bozena has an extremely strong work ethic. She is dependable, punctual, and very flexible with coming early or staying late when needed, and watching the kids for an occasional date night. Bozena has never called in sick during the 5 years she has worked with us and rarely requests days off outside of vacation time that our family has scheduled. She has upheld our family values and helped to impart them upon our children as they have grown. She is like an extended member of our family, and we'll miss her very much and want to make sure she finds another loving family. I am happy to speak with anyone interested to answer any additional questions. Thanks for your consideration! Colleen
