As a mom of 5 unique, wonderful children (4 teenagers/1 adult) I know childcare is serious, hard work & also very rewarding- full of interesting, enlightening, fun, silly, magical moments. My approach to childcare has 3 main parts: 1- Love with care- show them they're safe and loved unconditionally. 2- Bonding through building trust by being present with them inside clear, uncomplicated boundaries. 3- Happy Flow- create and/or maintain routines. Co-negotiated, low-stress routines are everybody's best allies. Life is a big adventure, especially for little ones! Every day should be filled to the brim with enthusiasm, curiosity and joy.
