About Averie

Hello! I hold a deep passion for human rights, children's rights and education, environmental awareness, and conservation. I believe that education, access to resources, and promoting diversity are essential to improve communities. As Whitney said, "I believe the children are our future", and would love to help raise children who thrive as active members of society. I have experience as a wilderness camp counsellor and lifeguard, a babysitter, and a tutor plus more! I am also certified in first aid and CPR! I'd describe my personality as considerate, fun-loving, and accepting. I like working with kids because I enjoy getting to make a positive difference in someone's life while getting to help create a brighter future. I started working with kids when I was very young, both taking care of younger sister, babysitting, and eventually as a camp counselor and tutor.
