Athena worked with our family for just over a year, during a time of big transitions for our children (entry into kindergarten with a lot of anxiety, etc.). Athena EXCELLED at helping them through these transitions. She is calm, consistent, and incredibly caring, and always made our children feel safe and cared for. She is trustworthy and highly reliable, and as parents, always instilled confidence that she had every situation well under control. She is fun and creative, always finding new and engaging things to do with the kids, and finding ways to make their dreaded "homework" fun. Bonuses? She was happy to volunteer in both our our children's classes during the school year, providing a bridge between home and school, and when she was moving out of the area and no longer able to by our family's nanny, she opened up a line of communication to our new nanny to provide insights and help ease the transition. Athena is a gem, and we would HIGHLY recommend her to any family looking for a trustworthy, reliable, engaged, and fun nanny!!
