About Ashley

Hello I am a childhood education student at Queens College, I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. I come from a family of teachers, my mother is a teacher, my aunts and uncles are all teachers, so it was no surprise when I decided to study education as well. Professionally I have worked at an afterschool for 2 years while also working toward my bachelors in elementary education and studio art. I am certified through red cross for first aid and CPR on children and infants. I have also completed numerous hours of professional training through the childcare education institute to help promote development in young children while having a safe and fun environment. I have experienced with children from the ages 6 months and up and I feel very comfortable with all age ranges.
