About Arlene

I am a mother of three children, 2 boys and 1 girl and I was blessed to be a stay at home mom. They are now in high school and college. For years, I was active in all their activities and drove them (and other teammates) near and far. I was a child development major, a preschool and 5th grade teacher prior to becoming a stay at home mom and caretaker for my parents. I also worked part time to assist with students needing additional help. I enjoy working with children and most importantly, helping them become more confident and proud of their accomplishments big and small. Remote learning made this a challenge in my home so I became more involved to help overcome these obstacles. I am patient, easy to get along with and understand that there are different methods of learning so I am willing to try new ways if something is not working successfully. If your child is comfortable with me, I would love the opportunity to help them improve in school and to help them believe in themselves.
