About Ariel

Hello! My Name is Ariel and I have been working with children for 11 years in many different capacities. My past experience includes being a ballet instructor for children ages 3-9, an assistant director at a musical theatre company for children ages 3-14, and numerous nannying/babysitting jobs. Currently I am working towards obtaining a postpartum doula certification. I am familiar with Montessori and gentle parenting techniques and use them often in my approach to dealing with children. I believe in promoting independence and providing a safe environment for children to learn, grow, fail safely, and try again. I believe in the importance of children's free self expression and I try to foster that through healthy creative ways. My personal favorite way is though the arts but am open to try different ways depending on how the child is comfortable expressing. Letters of recommendation available upon request.
