About Ariadne

Hello! I am a reliable, loving, and playful 20-something that absolutely loves taking care of kids! I've nannied for three families so far, for about 3 years each for the first two and just over 1 year with the last family. For the last 4. 5 years, I've been working in the children's department in a library assisting with developing the collection and creating programming. I have an Associates degree in American Sign Language Interpretation and I've taken additional child development classes since then. In high school, I was an assistant dance instructor for preschool level ballet and tap classes. Everyday adventures are some of my favorite, whether it's taking kids to the park, the zoo, or even exploring the backyard! Kids learn best through play and I love encouraging them to follow their interests! I tend to lean towards the gentle (authoritative) parenting side and will always show respect for the kids in my care. I am currently looking for part-time. *I am allergic to cats*
