Hello families. I have nannied for 8 families in their homes, 15 children in all. My preference now is to care for children aged 18 months and up. I have cared for many babies and am now anxious to engage children with crafts, outside adventures, field trips etc. Prior to being a nanny, I was employed as a preschool aid for 5 years, Special-Ed preschool aid and tutor for 1 year. I love teaching kindness, manners, patience, humor and cooperation and especially enjoy helping children grow into nice young people. I met with other nannies at story times, play centers, nature centers and playgrounds, providing friendships and an opportunity to develop social skills. I enjoy reading to children each day. Anne was our nanny for 2 years. She was a wonderful addition to our family. She would take my son to playgrounds, libraries, the zoo, and children's museum. She would also make his snacks/lunches and would help with laundry. Anne was extremely reliable and never called off the entire 2 years she was with us. I would highly recommend her.
