About Angela

Hi! My name is Angela. I have babysat/nannied since my teenage years and I love watching children of all ages learn and grow and I love being a part of that. I have been a nanny for 3 girls ages 6 months, 3 years and 6 years. Those girls are grown now and we still continue to keep in touch. More recently, I have worked in two different daycare facilities as a teacher/teacher's aide working with children of various ages. I was a nanny for 3 older children ages 7, 11 and 13. They were great kids and I enjoyed picking them up from school, helping the youngest with her homework, taking them to after school activities and helping with dinner. I am also very familiar with senior care. I spent 3 and 1/2 wonderful years as a senior care companion/caregiver. Her family were friends of our family and we had a lot of fun together. We went to the grocery store together, got her nails and hair done as well as doctor and dentists appointments. I prepared meals and kept her company. I also kept up with all of her medication and eventually I was helping her with showers and getting dressed, going for walks etc. It was a wonderful experience but unfortunately her memory loss turned into Alzheimer's. As her health worsened, she needed more medical attention and the family decided to hire 3 certified nurses to be with her around the clock. It was a tough job to leave but I am still in touch with the family and can still visit her. I would be glad to give the family as a reference. Lastly, I also love pets & have much experience pet sitting. I have many references for this as well. I guess you could say I enjoy caring for others, it is where I excel. Though I have to admit that my main passion is working with children. Thank you so much for considering me!
