About Amel

I'm studying Early Childhood Education with the hopes of obtaining my bachelor's degree from OSU. At this point, my goal is to teach 2nd grade. Currently, I work as an lead teacher in a 3/4years, I want to be a light in the dark to students who may not have "good" role models at home. I think of the teachers that made the biggest impact on my life and think about why their impact was so great. It's because of the kindness and love they showed me, but also because they were people who helped me to understand that I could achieve anything I set my mind to. I also love working with children because each day has a certain level of unpredictability to it. Especially within the classroom, I teach now. On the days that I'm struggling, I cannot help but have a smile on my face because of the joy each child gives me. I love being part of their learning experience.
